• Florence Nightingale
• Believed that God had called her to be a nurse
• Prominence for her pioneering work in nursing during the Crimean War, where she tended to wounded soldiers. She was dubbed "The Lady with the Lamp" after her habit of making rounds at night.
• Nightingale laid the foundation of professional nursing
• This was a hard and not as fun day picture....I could not think of anyone that I wanted to call a favorite....I chose Nightingale because she laid the foundation for nursing the way it is today and this I thank her for....Nursing has come a LONG way since Nightingale first laid the idea down but she made the first steps:
